This course addresses the challenges associated with dental implant placement in the maxillary posterior edentulous region, such as sinus cavity pneumatization and thin bone patterns due to resorption. Dr. Luis Bessa is a graduate of ISCS-N and has continued his education in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has experience working in a hospital environment and has a comprehensive understanding of general health and the body as a whole.
Dr. Bessa has a passion for education and has participated as a speaker in several international conferences, and has been the head of the Maxillofacial Surgery course at the University Fernando Pessoa. He is currently an invited professor for implant several postgraduate programs at Portuguese and foreign universities.
Dr. Bessa owns his own practice, NORTH CLINIC, and educational project, NORTH EDUCATION, where he focuses on minimal invasive ridge reconstruction with autologous tissues and high-end aesthetic dentistry with a strong focus on a biological approach and aesthetic zone management.
